Recycla-breakfast: Aesthetically Unappealing Overnight Oats - Peanut Butter Edition

I've always wanted to make overnight oats, since I was inspired by this amazing Buzzfeed Food article. I found myself with an almost-empty jar of peanut butter, and wanted to find a way to both reuse the jar and its delicious content - but how? Well, with some milk, the fruit of your choice and some uncooked oatmeal, you can make a nifty little recycla-breakfast, ready for you the next day when you wake up! Perfect for the perpetually tardy, environmentally conscious person, of which there are many here at Brown University.

Problem is, these overnight oats, while delicious, are not particularly aesthetically pleasing. They were made in an old peanut butter jar, and just looked like oatmeal, only slightly browner. For this reason, until I figure how to make overnight oats look sexy, there won't be photos, just recipes!

Ingredients:
1 nearly empty 16oz jar of peanut butter (about 1-2 tablespoons remaining)
1 small ripe banana
½ teaspoon cinnamon
½ cup oats (I used quick oats but rolled oats are also good here)
½ tablespoon maple syrup.
½ cup milk (I used whole, but any non-dairy milk will also do)

Method:
Mash banana into the jar and stir with peanut butter.
Add oats and milk and stir until well blended.
Add cinnamon and maple syrup to add a sweet taste and gently stir.
Ensure that there is minimal peanut butter stuck to the sides of the jar, if there is then simply scrape the sides with a knife and fork and stir the mixture again.
Refrigerate overnight - or for at least 4 hours.
Serve hot or cold for a quick, delicious breakfast!
